What are the measures to be taken by a factory in respect of the health of the worker?

As per the provisions of the #Factories_Act, 1948, every factory must take appropriate measures to:

a) Keep the premises neat and clean;

b) Dispose the waste and effluents;

c) Maintain proper ventilation and room temperature;

d) Prevent the accumulation of dust and fumes;

e) Avoid overcrowding;

f) Provide sufficient lighting, drinking water, latrines & urinals, and spittoons.
