In case of an accident, what are the precautions that should be taken by the factory?

In case of any accident or dangerous occurrence involving bodily injuries, the factory management is required to send a notice in Form 18 or Form 18A within the prescribed time limit.  Fatal accidents should be informed in Form 18 within 12 hours; for non-fatal accidents in Form 18 within 48 hours, and for dangerous occurrences in Form 18A within 12 hours.
