What are the rights of the workers as per the Factories Act, 1948?
a) A worker has the right to obtain information from the employer relating to workers health and safety at work.
b) He has the right to get himself sponsored by the employer for getting trained at a training centre or institute, duly approved by the Chief Inspector of Factories, where training is imparted for workers health and safety at work.
c) He has the right to represent to the Inspector directly or through his representative in the matter of inadequate provisions for protection of his health and safety in the factory.
