What is the liability of the employer who is employing less than 50 workers and possesses no power to lay-off to a worker that he has laid-off?


Where the employer is employing less than 50 workers and possesses no power to lay-off, a workman laid-off by him would be entitled to full wages i.e. 100% of the basic wages and dearness allowance.
