By Industrial Disputes (Amendment) Act, 2010, which is in force from 15-09-2010, section 9-C has been added in the Act for setting up of Grievance Redressal Machinery. Now every industrial establishment employing 20 or more workmen shall have to constitute one or more Grievance Redressal Committee for resolution of individual disputes. Employees can approach the Grievance Redressal Committee for resolution of their disputes.
