Can the application of Compensation be made to the Central Labour Department?
No. The application for Workmen Compensation has to be made to the Commissioner for Workmen Compensation as notified by the State Government as required under the Act. The Central Labour Department has not notified any official as Commissioner for Workmen compensation.
