What are the registers and records to be maintained by the Contractor under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970?

i)  The Contractor should maintain a Muster Roll and a Register of Wages in Form XVI and Form XVII respectively.  If the wage period is fortnightly or less, then a combined Register of Wages-cum-Muster Roll in Form XVIII has to be maintained.

ii)  Should maintain a Register of Deductions for damage or loss in Form XX, a Register of Fines in Form XXI and a Register of Advances in Form XXII.

iii)  Should maintain a Register of overtime in Form XXIII.
