Are children eligible for pension?
• If the member dies, the surviving children are eligible for child pension in addition to monthly widow pension.
• pension is payable to the children up to 25 years of their age, or marriage or till they start earning a monthly income.
• The payable amount is 25% of the widow pension and to a maximum of two children.
• Widow daughter / divorced daughter/ unmarried daughter of deceased Government servant is also entitled for the pension till her remarriage or up to life time or starts earning.
