Can an employer effect a change in the wages and allowances of his workmen without giving notice under Section 9-A of the Act?

“Wages” is a matter specified in the Fourth Schedule of the Act. As such no change can be effected in respect of wages and allowances without giving a notice under section 9-A of the Act.
