Is it mandatory for the employer to intimate about the maternity benefits available to women employed in the organization?
The Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017 makes it mandatory for employees to intimate every women employee in writing or electronically at the time of her appointment every benefit available to them under the Maternity Benefit Act.
